Key features
Important
FOR BRUSHED AC MOTORS ONLY: This speed controller works by reducing voltage to regulate AC brushed motor speed. It is NOT compatible with brushless motors, DC motors, or appliances with electronic circuit boards (such as microwaves, rice cookers, water pumps, LED lamps). If unsure about your motor type, check your device manual or contact us before purchasing. Compatible devices: inline duct fans, exhaust fans, ceiling fans, angle grinders, electric drills, routers, incandescent lamps, and resistance heaters.
Extra-Long 6 Ft Power Cord
Enjoy maximum flexibility with a 6-foot grounded power cord. Route the cord from the outlet to hard-to-reach fans in attics, crawl spaces, grow tents, or workshops without needing an extension cord. The 3-prong grounded plug ensures safe operation.
3-Position Switch + Stepless Speed Dial
The rocker switch offers three modes - Variable (VAR), Off (O), and Full Speed (I). In Variable mode, the precision dial lets you smoothly adjust speed across three ranges: Low, Medium, and High. In Full mode, the outlet delivers full 120V for maximum speed. Simple, intuitive control for any experience level.
Powerful 15A / 1500W Capacity
Input: 110-120V AC / 60Hz. Max Current: 15A. Rated Current: 10A. Resistive Load: Max 2000W. Inductive Load: Max 1500W. For optimal performance, use with devices rated 50W and above. Devices under 35W may have limited speed adjustment. Built-in fuse protection automatically cuts power if current exceeds 15A (replacement fuse: standard 120V 15A glass fuse).
Durable Flame-Retardant Construction
Housed in high-quality ABS plastic with a flame-retardant, heat-resistant shell that resists cracking, discoloration, and deformation. Thickened phosphor bronze internal contacts provide reliable electrical connections for long-lasting performance. Compact design (6.5" x 4.8" x 3") fits neatly in any setup. If the unit does not power on upon arrival, the fuse may need replacement - a standard 120V 15A glass fuse available at any hardware store.
